Hello
At A Voice For Everyone, our mission is to ensure that every child has access to the education and supports they deserve. We are dedicated to guiding families through the development of appropriate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans while fostering collaboration and trust between parents, guardians, and schools. By building respectful partnerships and advocating with compassion, we empower families and educators to work together in the best interest of each child.
My Story
Hi, I’m Stephanie Turner, and I’ve been working in the field of special education for 17 years. My journey began as a paraeducator, where I quickly discovered my passion for supporting students with disabilities and their families. From there, I became an education specialist, high school special education teacher, and earned a dual Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Mild/Moderate Special Education.
Since 2016, I’ve been serving as a case manager and special education advocate, combining my classroom experience with a deep understanding of special education law and policy. I bring both deep professional experience and a strong personal commitment to every family I support. I’ve completed formal advocacy training through the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) and hold a board certification in Advocacy in Special Education through NASET and AASEP.
I started A Voice for Everyone Advocacy because I firmly believe that every child has the right to be seen, heard, and educated—regardless of their background, disability, or individual circumstances. My mission is to break down barriers to access and ensure that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
My goal is to make sure families know their rights, have meaningful opportunities for parental participation, and can give informed consent in all aspects of their child’s education.
Advocating for your child shouldn’t feel overwhelming or isolating. I’m here to walk alongside you, to ensure your voice is heard, and to help make sure your child receives the services and support they need to thrive.
Everyone deserves a voice—and I’m here to help make sure yours is heard.
